Review - The fountainhead by Ayn Rand: One of my top 3 books. Ayn Rand cleverly portrays the fight in the society between individualism and collectivism. The protagonist of the novel, Howard Roark, believed by many to be based on Frank Lloyd Wright, is a gifted architect who refuses to compromise his personal vision to adhere with convention. The plot of the novel makes even reading the heavy philosophical stuff easier. Excellent book, great story and a must read.
